Balvinder Delill - Directress

I graduated from York University. I also obtained my Montessori Diploma from Toronto Montessori Institute. This is my 6th year teaching at Northstar Montessori School. I knew early on as a child that I wanted to become a teacher as I found myself year after year admiring my teachers for their constant dedication, strength, and eagerness to help students in the class. I realized from a very young age that a career in teaching was one of great responsibility to our future. I constantly work toward motivating students to their highest potential and creating an environment where students are safe while being given the tools, socially and academically to find success throughout their education. I engage students to become life-long learners as my teachers have made me. I enjoy working at Northstar as I am surrounded by optimistic and supportive staff members. The teamwork between the teachers has helped me overcome challenges and empower me to become a wonderful motivator to my students. My students at Northstar have continued to give me inspiration and motivation everyday within the classroom. Most of all, I enjoy teaching students and the greatest reward comes when their faces light up with joy when they have accomplished their goal.

Rocco Russo - Director

I am a graduate of the University Of Toronto (B.A.) and have completed my Montessori training through the Toronto Montessori Institute. I joined the Northstar Montessori staff in September of 2006. I am married to a beautiful wife and we have an adorable five month old son. Working with children is my passion and it is my hope that I can touch their minds as well as their lives. The Northstar community is a team in every sense of the word and I believe that at Northstar Montessori we are "Guiding your child in the right direction!"
